Purim!

Some purim pictures. For shabbat I went to Yeshivat Hamivtar, my old alma mater in Efrat, after Rav Brovender, the rosh yeshiva, announced that this would be his last shabbat there after some 30 years. A bunch of the boys came out to spend shabbat, and it was really really nice. It felt like the last episode of Seinfeld, with all of the old faces coming back from the past.
I ended up staying overnight afterwards to do Purim there. I would have done it Monday in Jerusalem, but I was needed back on the farm, so I rearranged a bit. But after the wine, food, and purim Shpeil at Hamivtar, I was quite satisfied.
Sorry I'm such a terrible photographer. I really need to work on my skills. The two pics below are from Hamivtar's Purim nigh Mesiba, and the one above is from Machon Meir, when I snuck into megilla reading for a few minutes before catching my bus. You can see how packed the beit midrash is, and the volume for the booing was intense. Especially compared to the 20ish people in the Hamivtar Beit Midrash, who themselves are not big ruach guys. In any case, a very good purim!
