That "back in the city" feeling

Its amazing what a different lifestyle I've been living in the desert compared to in Jerusalem. Over in the desert, everything is slow, everything takes longer than it should. No matter how hard I try to set up a high-speed Internet connection, the desert just won't let us. Instead, we relax, smile, and feel Hashem's presence.

And in Jerusalem? Well, the fact that I'm blogging at 11:30 at night should tell you something. I've got tons of meetings tomorrow, tons of stuff to do, and I have a feeling that I'm going to be waking up at 4:00 in the morning with my stomach clenched in worry. Well, if that happens, at least I'll be able to eat before the fast. Taanit Esther starts at 4:37 or so...
