Building blocks

Wow, busy day today. Spent the morning getting the new Janglo site ready for launch, and made the announcement at about 3PM. Meeting with a sponsor in the morning was cancelled, rescheduled for tomorrow. After the fast, met with some go-getter activists about how we can try to work together more in the future. Hopefully, we'll meet again in two weeks or see and see if anything is going to come out of it.

I'm tired.

But probably the most important thing I did today was get clarity on how to solve my greatest problem in life. Since I started doing a nightly cheshbon ha-nefesh (self- evaluation) a few weeks ago, it has become clear that my biggest problem in life is anxiety at the lack of clarity in my tasks. Once I get into work mode, I very quickly work myslelf up into a frenzy in which I get more and more scatterbrained and frustrated. My new project is to work on developing clear to-do lists that are effective and executable, broken down into steps and prioritized. I figure that means sitting down for 10 minutes before breakfast every morning and plotting strategy. Its like the mussar books say, every day is a great battle, and you have to manage it like the general of an army. So tomorrow, I start with a new mindset. Wish me luck.
